Day 3: The Lighter Side: The Gifts
Once we can bring in (even a little) more compassion for ourselves and others, it is time to delve beneath the controlling/distracting/isolating/pleasing fears and freakouts and into the gifts that wait for us.
For Day 3 of our 2024 Anti-Resolution Challenge we focus on the underlying wisdom we all carry when we step out of our strategies.
Every strategy, and I believe every human, has a foundation of beauty, innate goodness, and wise connection to intuition and inspiration. If we just focus on the problems, we can get trapped in struggle and constant fixing. If we ignore the suffering, we can get stuck in spiritual bypass and the energy-sucking pretense everything is okay when we are actually not okay.
The sweet spot is to acknowledge our strategies and our suffering, bring in compassion, and honor the gifts so we can start embodying them.
Today your challenge is to own and celebrate the many blessings that are the solid, wondrous, wise roots beneath your strategy.
